  19. - This film was made before man walked on the moon.

  21. - Director Stanley Kubrick originally planned narration for the prehistoric
  22.   scenes.

  24. - Kubrick planned to have Alex North (who wrote the score for Kubrick's
  25.   _Spartacus_) write a musical score especially for the film.  During filming,
  26.   Kubrick played classical music on the set to create the right mood. 
  27.   Delighted with the effect, he decided to use classical music in the finished
  28.   product.

  31.   20 minutes for its public release, but still failed to win over the film
